Beware Trikke Knockoffs
Buyers beware! Trikke knock offs are entering the U.K. market, some even posing as the original. If you do not buy a Trikke from www.thefeelgoodfactor.com an authorised Trikke dealer selling products designed and manufactured by Trikke Tech, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA you run the risk of buying an inferior and even dangerous vehicle. One such product is available on E-bay and even has Trikke printed on the box. Trikke Tech, Inc. is the sole patent holder of the Trikke Technology. Copy cat products will not perform like the real thing nor are they manufactured to the strict Trikke Tech safety specifications. For your safety and consumer security, Trikke Tech urges interested Trikke customers to verify the authenticity of your Trikke before you buy it.

Revolutionary New Trikke is Turning Heads in Southern California & Around the World
August 14, 2003
VENICE, CA - August 14, 2003. Trikke Tech, Inc. a Southern California-based company that designs and produces unique vehicles for recreational and transportation use, introduces the sporting goods industry to the TrikkeTM - the revolutionary sports, fun and fitness machine. Trikke Tech now offers consumers three cutting-edge models - the Trikke 5 for kids and teens, the Trikke 6 for intermediate riders, and the high performance Trikke 8 for adults. The unveiling of the TrikkeTM last summer spawned an overwhelming response from the international media with TrikkeTM landing full page reviews in PEOPLE, MAXIM, US NEWS, PLAYBOY, and WIRED to name a few. The TrikkeTM was also featured in TIME magazine's November 2002 issue of the Ten Coolest Inventions of the Year as well as the cover of TIME for Kids magazine.
Patented from stem-to-stern by 2 U.S. patents, 8 U.S. patents pending, and more than 27 international patents pending, these products are conspicuously devoid of pedals or drive train. An easy side-to-side motion, similar to skiing or inline skating, combined with leaning the TrikkeTM in the direction of the turns can propel the rider to speeds exceeding 18 miles per hour. The rider's feet need never touch the ground - even while climbing hills. Quite simply, this is another Los Angeles success story, setting the next hot trend for the entire world to follow.
"We're seeing the same response from people every day; they're just amazed. The most common reaction I get is 'Cool! What makes that thing go?!'" says Trikke's president, John Simpson. "'Just Rock and Roll!' That's what I tell them, which also happens to be our by line - no pushing, no pedaling, just rock'n'roll." An avid surfer and skier, Simpson found that the TrikkeTM satisfies the same desire for perpetual motion and carving turns --- but on pavement. He calls the invention a wonder and refers to his chance to partner with the inventor, Gildo Beleski, as the opportunity of a lifetime. An early mover in the Razor Scooter phenomenon, Simpson states that with TrikkeTM he is marketing a product that he loves to use personally.
Even Hollywood has embraced the TrikkeTM as a safe and practical inter-studio vehicle, eye catching prop for stars to ride on screen, as well as making the kids jealous in their own neighborhoods. Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are early adopters of the TrikkeTM. She says of her Black Trikke 8, "This is such a fun ride. The skier in me loves it!" David Spade has been riding his around the set of his current movie project, Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star as well as Jim Belushi and almost the entire cast of his hit sitcom, According to Jim. Trikkes are also making it on camera in the fall 2003 release of Surviving Christmas with Ben Affleck riding his TrikkeTM. Other stars include Jim Carey, Blair Underwood, Sapranos stars James Gandolfini and Robert Iler, and Malcolm in the Middle star Justin Burman.
News stations around the country have done feature pieces on the Trikke including KABC, KTLA, FOX11, KCWB San Diego, K-RON in San Francisco, and the TODAY show and CBSs The Early Show. The Trikke was also one of the 5 products featured on hundreds of television programs around the country by TIME magazine during its coast-to-coast television promotion of the Ten Coolest Inventions of the Year Issue.
"Whether you are a young adult seeking a unique and thrilling ride, or a seasoned athlete looking to increase your cardiovascular activity and strength-building, the TrikkeTM is an ideal solution," says Trikke inventor Gildo Beleski. Educated as an engineer at the Brazilian Institute of Technology and now L.A.-resident, Beleski's strong technical background in the manufacturing, R & D, and design of suspension parts and powertrains for compact vehicles is superbly expressed in the form and function of the TrikkeTM. "The Trikke was born from the combination of what I saw as a basic need for a simple, stable vehicle and my own desire to carve deep turns," says Beleski.
His original concept has blossomed into an extraordinarily versatile machine rivaling the bicycle in its utility and skateboards in extreme fun and recreational versatility. At a tenth of the price and 10 times the fun of the much-touted Segway, Trikke riding ranges from efficient transportation to extreme freestyle. It's a compact maintenance-free machine that fits into every aspect of one's lifestyle --- from riding to work to executing high-flying aerials in 12-foot half pipes. Though an extreme sports enthusiast's dream, the Trikke is extremely stable and simple to learn how to ride for your average outdoor sports enthusiast. With its three-point stance, unsurpassed maneuverability, and dual rear brakes, the Trikke is an extraordinarily stable vehicle at all speeds and does not suffer from many of the safety issues associated with skateboards, two wheeled scooters and inline skates.
Health and fitness enthusiasts are also beginning to enjoy the Trikke experience as a full body workout. "I was especially impressed with how many different muscles are involved with the movement. I also discovered that the Trikke conditions and tones the upper body. Everyone that I recommend the Trikke to says the same thing: 'They love it!'" wrote Gary Ackerman, ASCM Certified Health & Fitness Instructor, Sarasota, Florida.
The other members of the Trikke Tech team include VP of Public Relations Lee Everett, VP of Content and Merchandising William Schlueter, both sharing decades of experience in the entertainment and advertising industries, as well as Jeff Hannah as Director of Sales and corporate strategist.
All three versions of the Trikke are constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, and each is named for the diameter of its maintenance free polyurethane wheels. Every TrikkeTM has dual independent rear brakes, adjustable handlebars to accommodate heights for both children and adults, and folds easily to a compact size for transport or storage.
Trikkes are currently available online from £139.00 to £189.00 at www.thefeelgoodfactor.com and at select dealers in the U.K. and around the world. TrikkeTM is working with an experienced team of marketing partners on a direct response campaign to air this summer and fall, as well as promoting the product at major retailers and sporting goods chains everywhere.

Jimmy Evans Trikke Across America
December 12, 2003
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ATTEMPT T0 SET WORLD RECORD ON TRIKKE 3-WHEELED CAMBERING VEHICLE
SANTA MONICA, CA -- DECEMBER 12, 2003 Jimmy Evans Trikke Ride Across America is the nations first ever attempt by an individual to travel from coast-to-coast on the worlds hottest and safest human-powered vehicle, the Trikke. The 3-wheeled cambering Trikke combines the best of todays action, fitness, and extreme sports into a single sports-recreation vehicle that appeals to riders of all ages. The Ride is the brainchild of Jimmy Evans, a dedicated Los Angeles Trikke rider and enthusiast of numerous extreme sports. In 2001, Jimmy rode his Trikke from San Diego to Los Angeles without his foot ever touching the ground, and this time expects to travel more than 20 times that distance.
In attempting to set a Worlds Record for 3CV (3-wheeled Cambering Vehicle) distance riding (over 2,400 continuous miles), Jimmy Evans will demonstrate this growing sport to tens of thousands of new Trikke enthusiasts in small towns and major cities across the nation. Im thrilled to embark upon this exciting journey and represent Trikke riders everywhere. It is one thing to see our country looking out a car window - it will be quite another to carve through the streets of America on my trikke," said Evans on the eve of his historic ride.
Jimmy will launch his Trikke Ride surrounded by a large group of Trikkers at the Santa Monica Pier with an exciting media event open to the press on December 12, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. His route will take him throughout the Southern United States and major cities including Los Angeles, Phoenix, Tuscon, El Paso, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, Birmingham and Jacksonville to name a few. His trip will conclude approximately 80 days later just north of Jacksonville, Florida with a welcome celebration on Amelia Island. Jimmy will be closely followed by a Trikke support vehicle to follow his ride and record his progress.
Already, the Trikke has been featured on the CBS Morning Show, in People Magazine with Jennifer Aniston, during the Los Angeles X Games, and was featured as one of 2002's Coolest New Inventions in Time Magazine. The purpose of Jimmys Ride will be the personal introduction of the Trikke technology to those yet to experience this growing sensation. To ride the Trikk(pronounced trike), the rider stands on two platforms over the rear wheels and holds a handlebar connected to the front wheel for steering control and support. The 3CV Trikke is propelled by the side-to-side weight shift of the rider's body combined with carving turns, like skiing on pavement, with a constant series of S-turns. "Throughout my training leading up to the launch, I could not believe how many people just stopped whatever they were doing and said, what makes that thing go?'. I cant wait to spend time along the way putting this vehicle under the feet of so many new riders ready to experience the Trikke sensation for the first time," added Evans.
In addition to recreation, Jimmys efforts will also demonstrate just how important the Trikke is to a healthy lifestyle and physical fitness. Remarked Gildo Beleski, the inventor of the Trikke and Chairman of Trikke Tech, Inc., "Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that someone would take my vehicle and share that vigorous riding experience with so many others. We are so proud of Jimmy, and are confident he will succeed in his efforts to not only make it, but make it as an even stronger individual. The non-impact Trikke is regularly used by leading fitness trainers, as a ski training machine, and a cardiovascular workout for everyday individuals seeking more exercise.
Jimmys Ride is sponsored by the developer and marketer of the Trikke 3CV technology, Trikke Tech, Inc. a fast-growing, Los Angeles-based corporation that is successfully leveraging a patented technology into the international sports-recreation marketplace. Launched in 2000, the Company designs, markets, and sells a revolutionary line of cambering vehicles to children, teens, and adults. Added John Simpson, President of Trikke Tech, It is clearly our goal to make 3CV riding and the Trikke an entirely new sports category throughout the world. The positive attention, enthusiasm, and support that Jimmy has already received validates that we are getting closer to this reality. Go Jimmy Go!
